Espaitec participates in Destaca en Ruta Vinaròs

The last weekend of September the Trade Fair Destaca en Ruta Vinaròs will promote knowledge transfer and innovation.

On the days that Destaca en Ruta Vinaròs will take place, a program of activities related to the innovation sector will be offered. From visits run with education centers in the town of Vinaròs to work tables and congresses, without forgetting a networking area for professionals, researchers and businesspeople, where business cooperation opportunities will be generated (it is necessary to register beforehand). This event, supported by the Jaume I University of Castellón, will include a stand for the Castellón University, where the Science, Technology and Business Park (espaitec) and the Cooperation Office for Technological Research and Development (OCIT) will be present.

On the morning of Friday 29 September, the visit from education centers in Vinaròs and other neighboring towns will take place. From this visit to the scientific diffusion area, year-6 primary education students from these schools will learn different chemical experiments, and robotics, will discover alternative energies and will be able to personally check virtual reality for themselves.

On Friday afternoon and Saturday morning, four work tables will be held at which research groups, businesses and organizations will talk to promote knowledge transfer and publish a report in which more sensitive matters that require much effort being made by the stakeholders involved in innovation north of the province of Castellón will be identified to find new solutions.

For the time being, attendance has been confirmed by some Town Councils throughout the province of Castellón, and also by companies and organizations related with innovation and research. Some of the Town Councils to participate in Destaca en Ruta Vinaròs include those from the towns of Vinaròs, Benicarló, Vila-real, Morella, Sant Mateu or Les Coves de Vinromà. Some of the companies that have confirmed their attendance are Ashland Chemical Hispania, the Castellón Airport, LM Wind Power or the Castellón Port. Highlights En Ruta Vinaròs is organized by the Universitat Jaume I through the Ceramic Innovation Chair, the Vinaròs Town Council, and CEEI Castelló through the Territorial Focus Programme.

On the last weekend of September, the Destaca Fair at Ruta Vinaròs will promote the transfer of knowledge and innovation. 

For two days Destaca en Ruta Vinaròs will offer a program of activities related to the innovation sector. From arranged visits to the educational centers of Vinaròs to work tables and conferences, including a networking area, upon registration, for professionals, researchers and businessmen where they can generate opportunities for business cooperation. The event, which has the support of the Jaume I University of Castelló, will have a stand from the University of Castellón where the Scientific and Technological Park (Espaitec) and the Office of Cooperation in Research and Technological Development (OCIT).

During the morning of Friday the 29th, the visit to the educational centers of Vinaròs and other neighboring towns is expected. During their visit to the scientific dissemination area, the 6th grade students of these schools will learn about different chemical experiments, learn about robotics, discover alternative energies and see virtual reality first-hand.

In addition, on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning there will be four work tables where research groups, companies and entities will dialogue with the aim of promoting the transfer of knowledge and publishing a report identifying the most sensitive topics that require a greater effort on the part of the agents involved in innovation in the northern regions of the province of Castellón, with the aim of finding new solutions.

For now, town councils from across the province of Castellón, companies and entities related to innovation and research have confirmed attendance at the event. Regarding the town councils, Destaca en Ruta Vinaròs will have the participation of municipalities such as Vinaròs, Benicarló, Vila-real, Morella, Sant Mateu or Les Coves de Vinromà. As for the companies, some that have already confirmed their participation are Ashland Chemical Hispania, Castellón Airport, LM Wind Power or Puerto Castellón. Highlights En Ruta Vinaròs is organized by the Universitat Jaume I through the Chair of Ceramic Innovation, the Vinaròs City Council and CEEI Castelló through the Territorial Focus program.
