The session was part of the Castellón Global Program, with the support of the Castellón Provincial Council.
Espaitec has organized this Wednesday a meeting aimed at family businesses in the province of Castellón within the framework of the business acceleration program Castellón Global Program, which has the collaboration of the Diputación de Castellón.
The objective of the session was to bring together representatives of family businesses to discuss and share ideas about the challenges facing these types of organizations. The opening session included Ana Belén Arzo, head of the Economic Promotion and International Relations Service of the Castellón Provincial Council, and Juan Antonio Bertolin, director of Espaitec.
A presentation was then given by the Valencian Institute for the Study of Family Businesses (IVEFA), represented by its director, Juan Bolós, and the secretary of the board of directors, Carlos Grande, and its director. In addition, the following companies participated in the session Ambimetrics, Agut de Benlloch nougats, Sweets La Cartuja, Fustecma, Prades MT y The FaixeroMembers of the research group also attended. GRECO (Strategy, Management of Knowledge and Innovation and Organizational Learning) from the Jaume I University and the Interuniversity Institute of Local Development.
The day continued with several roundtable discussions in which participants discussed key issues such as maintaining the essence of family without stagnating, preparing for growth without improvising, making difficult decisions without disrupting harmony, and using family history as a competitive advantage.
