Espaitec presents a new edition of “The Key… of Innovation”, a debate space inspired by José Luis Balbín's television format “La Clave”. On this occasion, the day will focus on the analysis of the power of disinformation and the dissemination of fake news through social media.
The event will take place on Wednesday, June 18 at 18:00 a.m., in Villa Elisa (Benicàssim). The session will begin with a microtheater by Caixó Theatre and the screening of audiovisual content that will lead into the main debate. This seeks to promote collective reflection and the exchange of ideas between speakers and attendees, fostering an open and enriching conversation.

The debate table will have the participation of Isabel Moreno, physicist, meteorologist and presenter of the program “Here on Earth"; Ares Biescas, fact-checker at verified; Cristina Pauner, Professor of Public Law at the Universitat Jaume I, and Christopher Fernandez, Vice Dean of Communication and Institutional Relations of the Complutense University of MadridThe event will address issues such as misinformation in areas such as politics, the environment, and public health. The role of digital platforms in its dissemination will also be analyzed.
