The UJI.>LAB d'Espaitec, leading the FabLab brand, has started the new offer of 3D printing workshops "Enter the era of digital printing" during the 2022 academic year, the objective of which is to promote acquisition of competencies in the field of 3D printing by the university community
THEUJI.>LAB bypodcast, through its prototype laboratory FabLab, has launched the cycle of training workshops in 3D printing «Enter the era of digital printing» for any 2022. The training proposal, framed within the set of actions due to end in the UJI.>LAB, will consist of various workshops of different levels (initiation and advancement) in which they will be acquired from the basic connections with the Management and operation of an Ender 3D printer, ends with more advanced continguts with the strategies to follow for the printing of technical materials.
The workshop cycle is directed the entire community of the Universitat Jaume I (students, PDI, PAS, research staff, etc.), sent free to promote the acquisition of competencies in the field of 3D printing. The requirements to be able to access the workshops are be enrolled in the 2021-2022 academic year in any of the UJI's degrees, masters or doctoral programs (students), or maintain a contractual employment relationship until 2022 at the Universitat Jaume I (PDI, PAS, research staff or other types of work staff).
The first of the workshops, «3D printing workshop with filament initiation», it lasts until the end of April 8 and 9. The two days of the workshop will focus on the acquisition of basic knowledge about the appointments Healing and in the components integrants of a filament 3D printer, as well as the Installation of an Ender 3D printer I impressed a prototype with this one.
Series of workshops «Enter the era of digital printing»
The workshops that will be held in the next few dates are: «3D printing workshop with Avançat filament I» the 6th and 7th of May; «3D printing workshop with Avançat II filament» the 13th and 14th of May; «3D printing workshop with filament Firmaware» on May 20 and 21. The training is carried out on weekends from 15.30:18.30 p.m. to 9.30:12.30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 2:XNUMX a.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. from the Multipurpose Room of Espaitec XNUMX.
UJI.>LAB and its prototyping laboratory (FabLab)
The project UJI.>LAB is at the disposal of the students, professors and research groups of the Universitat Jaume I a space to energize the generation of innovative ideas, linked to the challenge-solution paradigm, with a multidisciplinary strategy, that is, with a 360° prism. Per això it incorporates a set of mechanisms that allow the purposes of the university community to be materialized, for example the FabLab, an environment for prototyping projects that result in a tangible product. To achieve this, it is compatible with the most advanced technology in 3D printers, Resin Printers, Laser carvers/engravers, Tall Tracers, Precision CNC i CNC for large formats.
UJI.>LAB facilitates the implementation of cocreatius projects, es a dir projects en els quals s'incorporates the end user into your design, incorporating the most innovative methodologies promoted by European Network of LivingLabs (ENOLL). The use of the Fablab in the co-creative environment is open to graduate and master's degree projects or other types of projects.
The inn in Marxa del projecte UJI.>LAB has remained possible thanks to the financing of theValencian Institute of Business Competitiveness (IVACE) In the first phase during 2019, theValencian Agency for Innovation (AVI) in subsequent phases from the end of 2020 to the present.
