The objective of the project, aimed at 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students of the Industrial Design degree together with the students of the official master's degree in Design and Manufacturing at the UJI, is to manufacture by 3D printing a set of small chemotherapy boxes for boys and girls in oncological treatment

podcast throw the UJI.>LAB Challenge «Kimibox», a project framed within the program of activities of UJI.>LAB and developed in collaboration with the General University Hospital of Castelló whose objective is design and manufacture by 3D printing a set of small chemotherapy boxes for boys and girls undergoing cancer treatment, so that the treatment bags are hidden behind them and, through their designs, the chemotherapy process is humanized. This initiative will be developed with the help of the FabLab, the Espaitec prototyping laboratory.

EL UJI.>LAB Challenge «Kimibox» is directed to 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students of the degree Industrial Design together with the students of the official master's degree in Design and Manufacturing from the Jaume I University, who will act as solvers, proposing possible solutions and designs over several days of collaborative work.

To participate in the project prior registration is mandatory and the period will open from 28 from February to March 8. Up to 28 solvers and/or a maximum of 7 teams made up of 2 or 4 people can participate in the activity, so places will be assigned in order of registration.
