For the third consecutive year podcast adhere to the program Science and Technology in Feminine who leads the Association of Science and Technology Parks of Spain (APTE). This project aims to make visible and promote science, technology, engineering and mathematics studies among secondary school students and especially female students with the aim of reducing the gender gap in these disciplines.

In this edition, 20 scientific and technological parks that are members of APTE participate and, in collaboration with secondary education centers in their provinces, will promote actions aimed at promoting science and technology among young people. In the case of Espaitec, a conference will be held on November 9 with the Torre del Rey Secondary Education Institute in Oropesa. Students will be able to live first-hand the experience of talking with active technologists in their environment, visit the exhibition “Women who changed the world”, which highlights 35 profiles that have stood out within the technological or scientific sector throughout history and participate in scientific and/or technological workshops.

The technologists who will be included this year for the presentation are: Gladys Mínguez Vega, Doctor in Optics and Full Professor at the Universitat Jaume I of Castelló who co-directs the University's Optics Research Group, Marianella Martínez, co-founder of the technology companies Roofeco and Blue Plasma Power and with Susana Pérez Badal, mechanical engineer and Maintenance Project Manager at BP Castellón Refinery.

Finally, students attending the conference will be encouraged to participate in the “Innovative proposals for challenges for sustainable development” contest, proposing actions that science and technology parks can carry out to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). raised by the United Nations 2030 Agenda. It should be noted that in the last edition one of the proposals presented by the Violant de Casalduch Secondary Education Institute, located in Benicassim, was among the three finalists at the national level.
