With the nutrition workshop “How to eat healthy at work and not die trying” the cycle of Cuida't activities begins, where health is the protagonist
Health is the most precious asset we have as individuals, taking care of the health of the people who make up the Espaitec ecosystem is committed to generating personal and professional well-being, promoting a positive work environment where generating new business opportunities and business collaboration. With this intention, the Scientific, Technological and Business Park of the Universitat Jaume I launches the cycle of activities Cuida't Espaitec, a set of actions around health where the care of the body and mind are the protagonists.
In the Cuida't workshops, health will be the link between companies, workers, professional positions and areas of knowledge. Activities will be carried out on a monthly basis aimed at improving the quality of life of the entire group of people who make Espaitec possible. The activities to be carried out throughout the year include sports teams that participate in various UJI leagues, training sessions on emotional intelligence, workshops on postural awareness and nutrition sessions to improve health and personal and professional performance.
The workshop “How to eat healthy at work and not die trying” It will be the first activity of this line of actions. Imparted by Pilar Escher on Thursday, February 21 at 17.00:2 p.m. at Espaitec XNUMX, it will serve to learn about the real and immediate action that food has on our abilities and how to enhance them to achieve high performance. At the end of the workshop, attendees will have learned to make a balanced menu for the entire week, preparing it in two hours, discovered what relationship our diet has with the functioning of our body and learned to analyze their diet, discovering areas for improvement in a personalized way.
This nutrition course open to the entire business community of Castellón is free for Espaitec companies, with a price of €10 for the university community and €20 for people without any connection to the Universitat Jaume I.

About Pilar Esquer

He has been a member of the Chair of Gastronomy and Nutrition at the Jaume I University of Castellón, carrying out several studies on the nutrition of schoolchildren in said province, as well as a two-year project to improve the health of the university community through of food. She has completed different specialization courses on Sports Nutrition and Regenerative and Functional Medicine at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition in London, where she has resided for 5 years. In the field of Gastronomy, she has taught different cooking courses, including, in 2008, Traditional Spanish Cooking, to the participants of the Copa America.
