The Espaitec UJI.>LAB project launches a website, www.ujilab.uji.es, to continue with its objective of providing the university community with an ideal and innovative environment to co-create.

The project UJI.>LAB makes available to the students, faculty and research groups of the Universitat Jaume I a platform to boost the generation of innovative ideas, linked to the challenge-solution paradigm, with a multidisciplinary strategy, that is, under a 360º prism. To this end, it incorporates a set of mechanisms that will allow the proposals of the university community to materialize, such as the FabLab, an environment for prototyping projects that result in a tangible product. To achieve this, we have the most advanced technology in 3D Printers, Resin Printers, Laser Cutters, Cutting Plotters, Precision CNC and CNC for large formats.

The UJI.>LAB will facilitate the implementation of co-creative projects, that is, projects in which the end user is incorporated into their design, either through Final Degree Projects (TFGs) or Master's Final Projects (TFMs) or other types of projects, incorporating the most innovative methodologies promoted by European Network of LivingLabs (ENOLL), of which Espaitec has been part of its board of directors since 2011.

The launch of the UJI.>LAB project has been possible thanks to the financing of the Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness (IVACE) in its first phase during the year 2019, and the Valencian Innovation Agency (AVI) in the second phase that began this year.
