The spin-off of the Universitat Jaume I, a company dedicated to the development, manufacture and marketing of robotic claws for use in collaborative robotics environments, is set up in Espaitec

Cooryc, knowledge-based enterprise (KBE) of the Universitat Jaume I, promoted by the researcher Daniel Cardin, provides advanced technological solutions that improve the efficiency and productivity of the manipulation and gripping processes in collaborative robotic environments, merging academic research with industrial applications that allow innovation in the human-robot collaboration.

The spinoff of the Universitat Jaume I offers designs for different sectors, such as manufacturing and logistics, prioritizing efficiency and adaptability. To do this, it uses 3D printing technology, reducing costs and facilitating the customization of robotic grippers, which are specialized in delicate handling in collaborative environments, optimizing gripping and handling tasks. It highlights the total control of the production process, from its design to the final assembly, eliminating extra costs and guaranteeing its quality and scalability.

Transfer Programs: UJIStartup, UJISpinoff and UJILab Impuls

La Universitat Jaume I develops different programs aimed at promoting the transfer and exchange of knowledge, as they are, UJIStartup, a business creation program promoted by members of the university community, UJISpinoff, a program aimed at research staff who wish to promote an EBC based on their research results, and UJILab Impuls, a program aimed at developing technologies and, in general, the knowledge generated at the university, to place them at a stage that allows their use by society. Daniel Cardin, founder of Cooryc and researcher, has participated in these initiatives ultimately aimed at integrating academic research into socially and economically sustainable products and services.

Cooryc received the UJIStartup support by the end of 2023, after passing through the program, financial support granted by the Universitat Jaume I, with the support of Banco Santander, to entrepreneurial initiatives born in the university community, with the aim of materializing their business projects and linking up with podcast.
