Ten years as a promoter of business innovation, knowledge transfer and innovative entrepreneurship in the province of Castellón
The Scientific, Technological and Business Park of the Universitat Jaume I (Espaitec) celebrated its tenth anniversary party this afternoon. More than a hundred people, most of them businessmen and entrepreneurs linked to Espaitec, have participated in this celebration event that included the participation of Jesús Lancis, vice-rector of ?Research and D? octorate of the Universitat Jaume I, and David Cabedo, academic director of Espaitec.
During his speech, the vice-rector highlighted Espaitec's history as a space for connecting the academic world and the business world. Since the management of Espaitec was entrusted to the General Foundation in January 2017, the Universitat Jaume I has made a determined commitment to Espaitec, understanding it as a space for innovation and knowledge transfer at the service of the territory.
Jesús Lancis has highlighted the role of Espaitec as a space of opportunities and a meeting point where talent, scientific knowledge, technology and work come together to generate new projects. His intervention ended by thanking, on behalf of the university community, the work carried out by all the entrepreneurs and businessmen of Espaitec who during these last ten years have created business, innovation, entrepreneurship and wealth, impacting the social and economic well-being of Castellón society.
The event took place at the Espaitec 2 facilities and consisted of a tour of the building in a different way: through experiencing experiences and sensations. To do this, attendees have only been asked to let themselves go and enjoy an event where magic, theater and lived memories have served to foster their bonds of unity and the memorability of the experience.
This dissemination action and the rest of the actions framed within the #espaitec10anys campaign have received funding from the Department of Education, Research, Culture and Sports of the Generalitat Valenciana.
