This Thursday and Friday the II Bootcamp Launchpad StartUJI 2016 was held exclusively for UJI yuzzers
A total of four business initiatives promoted by participants of the Yuzz UJI They met yesterday and today at the espaitec facilities, Scientific, Technological and Business Park of the Universitat Jaume I, to participate in the second Bootcamp Lauchpad StartUJI year.
Organized in collaboration with Increa Chair y UJI Empren, the exclusive Bootamp for yuzzers has consisted of two intense work sessions where they review everything seen during the program, applying the training directly to each of the business projects. The purpose of the format is to help transform these ideas and projects into successful innovative companies, or at least, reflect on the initial concept to adapt it to the needs of the market. During the two training sessions, areas of knowledge related to market segmentation, value proposition, finance and financing, competitive advantage and communication skills, among others, have been worked on.
The projects that have participated in this edition are: Citow, a platform for mobile phones and tablets that offers tourist video tours; Academy, a cloud learning platform that collaboratively brings university professors into contact with high school students through real projects proposed by companies; Towin, a tool that facilitates and allows communication between people and institutions by geolocating information and complained, an easy and intuitive tool that allows incidents to be quickly recorded for the consumer, with the ultimate goal of solving their problems.
The bootcamp is part of a set of revitalization actions promoted by espaitec to promote the generation of innovative companies from the Universitat Jaume l. The action is sponsored by the Department of Education, Research, Culture and Sports of the Generalitat Valenciana.
