We are finalizing the details of the first phase of the UJI Hero project. A scientific and technological dissemination campaign aimed at primary and secondary school students that aims to turn scientists, entrepreneurs and former UJI students into heroes.
The main objective of the campaign is to create new models that serve as inspiration for future generations. That is, the scientific staff, professors, teachers, entrepreneurs and graduates of the Universitat Jaume I become the new idols and heroes to be imitated by the young people of the province. The campaign also aims to socially recognize the work carried out by the public university of Castellón in its 26 years of history, in addition to introducing Castellón society to local heroes who are changing the world.
In this first phase of the campaign we have worked on the profile of entrepreneurial hero, in the coming months the project will focus on scientific profiles of the Universitat Jaume I and former students linked to AlumniSAUJI who have a recognized professional career. With all of them, audiovisual and graphic material will be made to disseminate the campaign among primary and secondary school students in Castellón.
To carry out the entrepreneurial hero campaign, we have had the collaboration of 6 entrepreneurs from Espaitec, three men and three women. Thus, the entrepreneur José Cano of the company The Logic Value has become «Financial Magical Man», a superhero trained at the Universitat Jaume I who, at 38 years old, is already the co-founder of two successful companies in the IT sector. For her part, Diana Franch, graduate in Advertising and Public Relations from the UJI and founding partner of It's The Lemon Pear, Has become "Communication Girl", a superhero who, in addition to being an entrepreneur, uses the power of communication to facilitate the daily lives of small businesses.
Other businessmen and entrepreneurs who have participated in the campaign are: Elena Archilés, from the company Clap Active Education; Ana Belén García, founder and general director of Dualium; Sergio Aguado representing Cuatroochenta Solutions and Nicolás Manero, from the company 4TIC.
This dissemination action has been funded by the Department of Education, Research, Culture and Sports of the Generalitat Valenciana.
