Espaitec has celebrated the day «Cybersecurity in times of Artificial Intelligence"Invisible threats, critical decisions," a meeting co-organized with 3 Economy as a media partner. The event aimed to analyze the emerging challenges posed by artificial intelligence in the field of cybersecurity and how organizations must adapt to address them.

The event brought together specialists from the technology and academic sectors, who shared their technical, strategic and organizational vision on new risks and protocols for responding to real cybersecurity incidents.

The session began with a presentation by Juan Carlos GarcíaCOO and Global SOC Director of Sophistic CybersecurityDuring her speech, she warned about the growing use of artificial intelligence in personalized fraud, such as deepfakes and voice impersonation. She pointed out that "cybercrime has already surpassed drug trafficking" and emphasized that attackers are exploiting readily available data and increasingly sophisticated tools. Given this reality, she advocated for the need to train staff, establish internal controls, and view cybersecurity as an essential investment.

Subsequently, the round table "Red Zone: decisions under cyberattack" was held, moderated by Ana Gil, Head of Institutional Relations at Economía 3. In it, the participants addressed practical cases related to voice and video impersonation, rapid response to incidents, organizational measures to contain the effects of an attack and digital habits for the prevention of personalized fraud.
