"Give me the can", in its most literal positive sense, is an initiative created within the research project Models of Innovation in Transfer (EspaitecMIT), promoted by the Scientific Culture and Innovation Unit (UCC+i) of the Service of Communication and Publications, which has funding from the Department of Innovation, Universities, Science and Digital Society of the Generalitat Valenciana and which seeks to boost communication between the companies of the Espaitec science park of the Universitat Jaume I.

The initiative, which has been well received among the companies that have participated in the project and which are Walhalla, Foodration4all, Blue Plasma Power, The Logic Value, Outcomes '10, Soluciones Cuatroochenta, Nob166 and Biótica, in addition to Espaitec, has been presented as "a three-dimensional research, repair and problem-solving device for companies" that, through a "game" between the companies and the project researchers, have shown in this can "what best represents their company", something that is not normally known.

The motivation for the can delivered to the participating companies is the direct involvement of the people who deal with the communication areas in the firms installed in the science park, and thus avoid massive emails to request information about the activities that they perform.

Specifically, they have been asked to "think about their company and place inside the can all those objects that represent it, but in a somewhat irrational way, without it being very obvious." To do this, they have shared photographs, music and different objects such as plants, vouchers, chocolate coins and even toys to be interpreted by the researchers of the communication project.

The EspaitecMIT initiative, developed with the support of the Vice-Rectorate of Research and Transfer of the UJI, aims to develop innovative models of knowledge transfer from science parks to the agents of the Valencian Innovation System, taking into account the tools and opportunities of the digital paradigm with the involvement of companies. The proposal proposes the implementation of new methodologies, narratives and resources to optimize the dynamization of the results of the scientific research, technological development and innovation activities of the Valencian science parks, favoring the gender perspective transversally.
