This initiative of social entrepreneurship managed by three former students of Industrial Design Engineering and Product Development of the Universitat Jaume I is dedicated to development of awareness and social improvement projects, all of them framed in the field of food. His main project “Nobody without their daily ration" has as purpose improve the current system of food donations and social integration of people who find themselves in a disadvantaged life situation.
Winners of the first edition
After receiving help from €10.000 as winners of the first edition de UJI Empren OnSocial, the company has recently settled in Espaitec to begin developing its project. “We consider that being part of Espaitec is being part of a innovative business network, where you can share experiences with other entrepreneurs and generate synergies in the technological field"Says Kilian Zaragozá Mora, founding partner of the project. “As former students of the UJI, it is a great motivation for us to be able to begin to contribute our small grain of sand, proposing social awareness activities within the university core. We consider it very important that, in order to develop and operate our business model correctly, society begins to become familiar with issues of this nature already from a university stage”Kilian concludes.
Foodration4all now has the challenge of carrying the advanced technologies with social impact to supermarkets, because his project “No one without his daily ration" It is based on applying a technological and computerized system made up of a set of developments. On the one hand, a aplicación móvil which will serve as the organizational core of the project. For other, QR technology that will be available on sales shelves and will serve as communication channel between donation and donor. All this, offering emotional experiences to donors with applications of virtual reality and augmented reality. The project also contemplates data management in the cloud, that is, databases that will house all donations and allow correct data crossing, providing transparency and inclusion throughout the process.
