The open innovation program Innotransfer launches, in this third edition of 2021, a specific webinar series on various approaches in the sustainable habitat sector. These technical meetings aim to give visibility to innovation opportunities, detected by Espaitec, Scientific and Technological Park of the Universitat Jaume I, in different areas of habitat and sustainability, such as clean energy in construction, smart homes, as well as sustainable design and architecture, paying special attention to the conclusions of the AVI Strategic Innovation Committee Specialized in Sustainable Habitat.

El 22 June The first of the three scheduled webinars will be held, «Energy transition in the sustainable habitat», in which the energy transition in the manufacturing of construction materials with green hydrogen as a key energy resource for the future. Applied innovation projects will also be presented as a success in business growth. Companies, technological institutes and research groups will present new developments to implement solutions in the field of sustainable habitat.

They will participate in the session as speakers José Vicente TomásCEO Kerajet; Carlos CabreraCEO ceracasa; Sixto Gimenez y Jose Mata, from the UJI research group Institute of Advanced Materials (INAM); Jorge corrales, architect of the habitat area of ​​the Institute of Ceramic Technology (ITC-AICE). The virtual event will serve as a day of revitalization and reflection, it will revolve around the implementation of more sustainable materials and construction systems; emphasizing the use of clean energy in the manufacturing of construction materials.

The webinar will end with the presentation of the sustainable habitat challenge platform, where companies and entities of the Valencian Community will be able to raise the specific challenges they face in the field of sustainable habitat and so that the research staff of the Valencian public universities can provide solutions to these challenges and needs; promoting cooperation between the scientific and industrial fields, facilitating contact and knowledge of the parties through a challenge-solution dynamic.

INNOTRANSFER

Forum Innotransfer is a multi-sector initiative of open innovation and collective management that aims to promote the transfer of knowledge and technology, developed by the scientific and technological parks of the Valencian Community, to the business ecosystem of our territory in key economic sectors such as Automotive and Sustainable Mobility, Agri-food, Sustainable Habitat, Health y Enabling Technologies.

The main business associations, the Valencian public universities and the network of REDIT Technological Institutes participate in the Innotransfer forum, which is funded by the Valencian Innovation Agency (AVI). This initiative aims to promote dialogue between researchers and companies in the Valencian Community through the catalytic action of the intermediate structures of the public-private research ecosystem and the Valencian business ecosystem.
