The training is aimed exclusively at members of the UJI university community (students, PAS and PDI).

Espaitec has launched a introductory workshop to 3D printing with filament framed in the training offered by the FabLab, its prototyping laboratory. Thus, the objective of the workshop is to promote the acquisition of skills in 3D printing among the community of the Universitat Jaume I (students, PDI and PAS)

The FabLab has organized two work groups for the beginner level and, later, the advanced level workshop will be launched. The established groups are the following:

  • Group A: Tuesday, February 13 from 15:00 p.m. to 19:00 p.m. and Thursday, February 15 from 15:00 p.m. to 19:00 p.m.
  • Group B: Tuesday, February 27 from 15:00 p.m. to 19:00 p.m. and Thursday, February 29 from 15:00 p.m. to 19:00 p.m.
The training will take place in the Espaitec 1 building, in the e'SUC meeting room (UA1006SR) and in the workshop opposite, which are located on the ground floor.

What is the FabLab?

The Espaitec FabLab is a workshop for the digital manufacturing of physical objects on a personal or local scale that brings together machines controlled by computers, capable of manufacturing almost anything we imagine. Thus, the FabLab makes various machines available to the entire UJI university community that can be used free of charge under supervision, such as 3D printers, scanners and milling machines, among others.

To participate in the sessions it is essential to register in advance.
