The working breakfast, aimed at companies in the Castellón Technology Park, has made it possible to identify common needs in the sector and propose possible lines of action.
Espaitec held a working breakfast with software companies integrated into the Castellón Technology Map to identify the main challenges they face in their operations and share potential solutions. During the meeting, the main challenges identified were the difficulty in attracting and retaining talent and the need to improve customer relationships to boost sales.
In the area of talent, participating companies emphasized the importance of adapting university education to new artificial intelligence tools, promoting their appropriate use in a way that does not replace critical thinking, especially for junior professionals. They also stressed the need to be competitive not only in terms of salary, but also by offering real prospects for professional growth and flexible working hours that facilitate work-life balance. In this regard, one of the potential courses of action proposed for Espaitec involves connecting companies with research groups and conveying to universities the need to train students in the rational use of artificial intelligence within the business environment.
Regarding customer relations and sales, the companies agreed on the importance of strengthening their sales approach, incorporating marketing tools, better understanding customer needs, and communicating the value of their technological solutions more clearly. All of this is aimed at improving sales conversion rates and reducing issues such as a lack of response from potential customers.
In response to this set of needs, the organization of events and networking days has been proposed, as well as specific workshops focused on areas such as sales techniques or negotiation techniques.

It is aimed at companies with a strong innovative and technology-based component, aligned with the Valencian Community's Smart Specialisation Strategy (RIS3CV).
