In recent months, information and communication technologies have played a fundamental role in our lives. From communicating with our loved ones to working or studying from home, to controlling the industry remotely. Health alert situations such as that caused by COVID-19 show that digital transformation has ceased to be an option and has become a necessity in any economic and social environment.
To address the importance of digital transformation from a multidisciplinary perspective, on Tuesday, June 30 at 12.00:XNUMX p.m. we organize a new session of “The Innovation Clau”. A colloquium between experts and citizens to debate the importance of digitalization in education, health, industry and electronic administration, without forgetting the perspective of the end user. On this occasion the event will have an online format, in order to attend it is necessary make prior registration in www. espaitec.uji.es. Limited capacity due to strict order of registration.
A very interesting panel of experts
During the debate we will have the participation of an outstanding group of panelists.
- Jordi Adell Segura, Director of Center d'Educació i New Technologies (CENT) of the Universitat Jaume I de Castelló, will provide the vision of education. What challenges does online education face in the post-COVID-19 era?
- Michelangelo of the Aegean Chamber, Secretary of the Association of eHealth Researchers (AIES), will provide the healthcare perspective on how the public system should opt for telematic and digital models, both in management and in patient care.
- José Antonio Heredia Álvaro, Director of the Industry 4.0 Chair at the Jaume I University of Castelló, will provide the vision of the digital transformation of the industry.
- Patricia Garcia Zapico. General Director of Innovation and Promotion of Gijón City Council, a national reference entity in electronic administration.
- Miguel Pérez Subías, Presidente de la Association of Internet Users (AUI), will give the vision of the users, analyzing the importance of putting people at the center of technological developments. Digital developments and services must be based on usability, accessibility, transparency and control, for digital transformation to be viable.
During the debate, questions such as the following will be answered: Is our society ready for digital transformation? Does everyone have access to it or are there still gaps? Where is security and privacy in a world dominated by data? What challenges does this transformation face socially, culturally and economically?
A debate open to the entire society
The program is aimed at the business sector of Castellón, entrepreneurs and those people who have concerns about current issues in today's society and want to debate and present their points of view. On this occasion, where digitalization will be addressed in different sectors, La Clau de la Innovació is of special interest to professionals in education, health, industry and public administration.
An action framed within the business acceleration program Castellón Global Program financed by the Diputación de Castellón, with the purpose of contributing to generating innovation between companies and local administration at the provincial level.
