Since October, the Castellón-based computer security company has been teaching an 8-month course at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. The University Specialist in Computer Security course aims to raise awareness of both the legislation and the procedures necessary to establish and control the security of a local area network connected to the Internet.
The syllabus taught by Sophisticated Between the months of October 2012 and May 2013, it started from basic concepts such as the introduction to computer audits or execution procedures to, little by little, delved into more specific concepts such as identification and analysis of vulnerabilities, legal regulations of computer audits, regulations of the Organic Law on Data Protection and existing tools to ensure computer security, among others.
The course is 100% eligible for funding by the Tripartita Foundation and the training provided will prepare attendees to take the CISA (Certified Information System Auditor) and BCI (Busines Continuity Institute) exams.
