The training has strengthened the financing and investment skills of four UJI research groups with the support of the UJISpinoff program.

Espaitec, in coordination with the Knowledge Transfer Office (OTC), held on September 9 and 10 a investment bootcamp framed in the program UJISpinoff, an intensive training course aimed at research groups of the Universitat Jaume I with projects in the process of being transferred to the market.

During the two days, the participating teams have worked on content focused on the private financing, the venture capital and financial preparation to attract Your Strategic . In addition, practical workshops on pitch and storytelling for fundraising, valuation exercises and financial roadmap design have been developed, in order to bring their initiatives closer to the requirements of the investor ecosystem.

Four research groups from the UJI participated in this initiative, presenting their business initiatives in the maturation phase. On the one hand, Applied Biomedicine Research Group (Biotransfer), with the initiative aRukon, a Health ICT platform for the exchange of animal testing samples. In addition, the group GROC-UJI has been part of it with his proposal Nanogroc, focused on the synthesis of high-purity nanoparticles. Also, GRAPE, with the project GRAPE-MARS, a research software that allows you to annotate videos to obtain quantitative data. Finally, ENCOM, with DivulgaHub, aimed at offering communication solutions based on professional experience and scientific-academic rigor.

UJISpinoff

The investment bootcamp is part of the program UJISpinoff, promoted with the aim of supporting research staff in the creation of science and technology-based companies through specialized training, mentoring, and connection with the business and investment ecosystem. The initiative is funded by the Ministry of Innovation, Industry, Commerce and Tourism and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Universities and Employment of the Valencian Government.
