Espaitec, Scientific, Technological and Business Park of the Universitat Jaume I and Bankinter Innovation Foundation, sign a collaboration agreement to help companies linked to the Park obtain the necessary resources for business creation, start-up and expansion.

Within the lines of cooperation between both entities, the Entrepreneurs program of the Bankinter Foundation stands out, whose objective is to help entrepreneurs with innovative projects, based on emerging technologies, in their early stages of development. Within the framework of this program, espaitec companies will be able to benefit from a financing line based on co-investment with private investors, which makes a maximum of 500.000 euros of seed capital available to entrepreneurs.

Since the park's managing entity launched the proposal to related companies, 6 have shown interest in participating in the initiative. After completing a project descriptive form, the Bankinter Foundation will advise interested companies on different financing possibilities, opting to present their project to potential investors and different existing financing lines.

The agreement also involves the collaboration of both entities in the exchange of entrepreneurial projects, the joint development of information on entrepreneurship and the implementation of training initiatives for entrepreneurs.
