Since last year four companies from the Valencian Community traveled to Silicon Valley through an internationalization program promoted by espaitec, the Castellón park has continued working along these lines and is now beginning to reap its benefits. Within the e' InnoBridge project, this week the signing of the first collaboration agreement between espaitec and a European park took place. The Castellón Science Park is currently negotiating similar actions with Russian, Lithuanian, Latvian and Chinese parks.
The signing of the MOU, acronym for Memorandum Of Understanding, a document that describes a bilateral or multilateral agreement between parties, marks the beginning of the internationalization and export process of companies linked to espaitec. E'InnoBridge, the reference project promoted by espaitec for the internationalization of its companies and the park, aims to create channels for the transfer of knowledge and technology from companies located in espaitec and others around the world.
Among other aspects, the agreement with Tallinn Science Park It will allow Estonian companies to spend some time in the espaitec facilities and vice versa, promoting the creation of synergies and temporary unions of companies that allow reducing risk and costs to reach international markets. Furthermore, through European programs such as Leonardo Da Vinci Mobility, which promotes the mobility of qualified workers between countries of the European Union, the temporary installation of Estonian technology-based companies in espaitec will be encouraged and vice versa, with the possible attraction in the medium term of other types of larger business projects.
For now, those responsible for espaitec and Tehnopol have worked to analyze the most prominent business profiles in both parks, with special attention to emerging sectors. As a result of these first actions, several espaitec companies have already started negotiations with Estonian companies. The company AWD Machine to Machine (M2M) technology company has offered its technology for massive networks of wireless devices, initiating collaborations with several companies based in Tallinn based on products and solutions for Energy Efficiency, Environmental Control, Lighting Control, Security Networks, Industrial Control and Smart Buildings.
For its part, Castellón engineering More Engineers has reached an agreement with a Tehnopol company for the commercialization of its systems in Spain, based on BMS systems for technical building management through artificial intelligence that allow the implementation of solutions in the field of climate control, lighting, access and security. The collaboration will be based on finding possible commercial partners in Spain that allow the Castellón company to access the market where the product is applied.
