Psique System, a company linked to Espaitec, has developed the Conecta-T application to promote social interaction between people with mental disorders, their families and mental health professionals.
Company Psyche System, linked to podcast, has developed the social application Connect-T with the main objective of promote social interaction of people with mental disabilities, such as schizophrenia or bipolar disorder. The app Connect-T offers a chat to create leisure groups so that people in similar situations can get to know each other; personalized daily challenges to train social and/or cognitive skills, and the agenda of activities offered by town councils by location.
Connect-T It is aimed at people with mental disorders, their families and also for professionals in the field of mental health. The social application reduces social isolation, increases interaction between users of different centers and offers leisure alternatives for adults with mental illnesses, thereby promoting the use of new technologies as tools for psychosocial rehabilitation, since they provide a means of social inclusion for this population that is excluded, labeled or under the vision of social stigma.
The social application is currently in the process of scientific validation of the benefits offered by the use of Connect-T, as well as its design, to make it simple and intuitive for its users. One of the objectives of the Castellón technology company is to be able to expand the use of Connect-T to other groups, such as people with Down Syndrome.
Psyche System
Psyche System is a firm that focuses its activity on the creation of new technological tools for the psychosocial rehabilitation of vulnerable groups. The company is formed by the psychologist Carla Juan Alfaro, CEO of Psique System, and Marc Pérez Masdeu, computer developer, both with experience in the field of mental health.
The technology company was born in 2021, after receiving 10.000 euros of financing from the Banco Santanderthrough Santander Universities, for being one of the winning projects of the third edition of the social entrepreneurship program of the Universitat Jaume I, «UJI Emprèn OnSocial», an initiative promoted jointly by the vice-chancellors for Research and Transfer and for Students and Social Commitment, specifically through the INCREA Chair of Innovation, Creativity and Learning and the General Foundation of the Jaume I University, managing entity of podcast, and with the collaboration of SECOT Castellón.
