24 projects promoted by the university community participate in the program promoted by Espaitec and INCREA
The eighth edition of UJIStartup has started this Wednesday with the participation of 24 entrepreneurial projects promoted by 39 members of the Universitat Jaume I. Thus, UJIStartup is the institutional business creation program promoted by the Vice-Rectorate for Innovation, Transfer and Scientific Dissemination through podcast, Scientific and Technological Park, and the Chair of Innovation, Creativity and Learning (INCREA).
At the opening of the program, they have participated david cabedo, vice-rector for Innovation, Transfer and Scientific Dissemination; Marisa Flor, director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the UJI; Juan Antonio Bertolin, director of Espaitec, and Vicente Nebot, VP DRY (Spanish Seniors for Technical Cooperation).
In addition, he has also participated Jorge Hortelano, participant in the seventh edition of the program and promoter of the project FUT+, a comprehensive program to help athletes in various areas such as nutrition, psychology, brand image or finance, among others, aimed at footballers between 16 and 35 years old.
UJIStartup Program
During the 8th edition of UJIStartup, which will take place from November to May, students will learn to transform creativity and innovation into business projects, addressing the tools necessary for entrepreneurship, problem identification and idea validation, marketing and communication strategies, and conflict resolution, among other areas.
In addition, entrepreneurial projects that successfully complete the programme will be awarded a diploma validating the training acquired. This document can be used as part of the process to obtain the official degree in entrepreneurial skills awarded by the Universitat Jaume I.
