The firm CEBIMAT LAB, located in Espaitec, launches its corporate website with the aim of publicizing its work in the study of the biodegradability of materials to promote a circular economy
CEBIMAT LAB (Center for the Study of Biodegradability of Materials) is a spin-off company of the Jaume I University, that is, a company created from its research results from the Polymers and Advanced Materials Group of the UJI, led by researchers Luis Cabedo y Jose Gamez. The main objective of the spin-off is the study of the biodegradability of materials to promote a circular economy that facilitates the coexistence of people, natural environment and industry.
The spin-off of the Universitat Jaume I continues to develop new methodologies for testing and analysis of biodegradable and compostable plastic materials to continue contributing to research, generating solutions to global problems that affect citizens and the environment. They also provide advanced biodegradability analysis services, as well as biodegradation consulting and technical support services, including the interpretation of results and the design of customized assays.
