In first edition of this new format organized by Espaitec and the accelerator Social Nest Foundation, have participated 8 project ideas promoted mainly by students and research staff of the Universitat Jaume I. Of the eight selected projects, five are promoted by undergraduate and master's students, two by researchers and one by administration and service personnel.

Among the ideas worked on through the bootcamp we find projects based on positive psychology and new educational technologies; initiatives focused on technologies for the development of cheap and automated biodegradation assays; devices to test immune therapies in certain types of cancers, or the creation of a social network based on affinity and community generation.

Bootcamp x Entrepreneurship is aimed at all people linked to the UJI with entrepreneurship ideas

Since Wednesday, those attending the bootcamp have discovered, through theoretical-practical sessions, the necessary tools to continue shaping their projects. During the first session they learned the necessary skills to undertake with Luis Martinez, certified coach of the European Commission. Next Raquel Galvez, a trainer and consultant in user experience design processes, taught them how to do research on future users of their products or services.

Miguel Tito, specialized in entrepreneurship and innovation methodologies, was responsible for the second session held on Thursday the 23rd. In it, the aspiring entrepreneurs put into practice tools from the Design Thinking and Lean Startup methodologies to be able to generate a business model that makes your viable project.

The training day ended with Oscar Lozano, entrepreneur of the startup for stroke prevention Rithmi, who told them in first person about his entrepreneurial path. Today the Bootcamp x Entrepreneurship ends with Margarita Albors, an expert in entrepreneurship and impact investment, with whom they are working on methodologies to grow the social impact of their initiatives and practicing how to make a successful project presentation.

This entrepreneurship dissemination action is supported by the Department of Education, Research, Culture and Sports of the Generalitat Valenciana with the aim of promoting the creation of innovative companies arising from the university community.
People who want to continue their idea can do so through UJI Empren OnSocial, the social and technological entrepreneurship program of the Universitat Jaume I, which plans to open registrations for the third edition in September 2019.
