The company Biotics Biochemistry Analytical specialized in the development and commercialization of rapid techniques for detecting microorganisms, organizes June 13 at the Cartuja de Sevilla Scientific and Technological Park a day to present the immunomagnetic separation technique (SIM), capable of providing results on the same day of sampling.
This technique developed by the Castellón company is an innovative alternative to traditional culture-based detection methods, allowing you to find out which bacteria and in what quantity appear in a sample in just one hour. The information that comes with its technique allows anticipation and quick and timely decision-making, both routine and in cases of outbreaks.
The immunomagnetic separation (SIM) technique provides results on the same day of sampling, and the detection of potentially infective bacteria as they are found within complex matrices. It complements other methods, such as culture or PCR, with preventive value, and can even be applied to them to improve their robustness. The three techniques are already contemplated in the UNE100030:2017 standard, reflecting the technical and professional consensus.
The conference, aimed at professionals in the public and private health sector, aims to provide in-depth knowledge of this technique, its foundation, its characteristics, its limitations, its applications, case studies, the experiences of others, its regulatory context, and In short, encourage participation in an innovation that opens the doors to socially responsible microbiology.
The event has a price of €121 (VAT included). Those interested in attending should contact Mireia Lázaro or Begoña Bedrina by calling +34 964 108 131 or by email to: info@biotica.es
