The virtual company Amazing Up develops “Safe Beach”, an app for the comprehensive management of beach area reservations
One of the biggest concerns of the tourism sector and coastal municipalities for the imminent summer is guaranteeing safety distance on the beaches during the new normal. In this line, the virtual company Amazing Up specialising in the development of innovative solutions for tourism, has developed “Safe Beach App”, an application for the comprehensive management of beach area reservations.
Through the Safe Beach App, users can reserve spaces on the beach at certain times. “They just have to download the application, select the beach area they want to go to on a map, reserve the available space, get to the beach, find the reserved area using GPS and enjoy the beach safely,” says Juan José Ortiz, CEO of the company.

To control the spaces, small bollards or beacons will be installed that contain a unique identification and a QR. Its distribution along the beach will be carried out in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Health to guarantee safety distance. In each municipality, the town hall will have a control and space occupation statistics page. On each beach, local police and lifeguards will have access to a complete map of the areas, and people to do random checks.
