Science and research are key in the fight against COVID-19

The manager General Foundation of the UJI, Juan Antonio Bertolín, and director of Espaitec, shows his support and encourages collaboration in the Fundraising campaign against COVID-19 in order to alleviate the effects that the COVID-19 pandemic is causing in the university community and society.

Bertolín affirms that "science and research are key in the fight against COVID-19" and ends the video supporting the campaign by saying that "now more than ever the UJI needs the collaboration of the university community and the entire society." "to be able to continue transforming knowledge and talent to improve the quality of life of citizens, especially now in the face of COVID-19."

The General Foundation is a non-profit entity of the UJI, whose objective is to collaborate with the Universitat Jaume I in the development and management of those activities that contribute to the improvement in the provision of university services. For its part, Espaitec, the UJI Scientific and Technological Park, is a unique environment in the province of Castellón aimed at hosting, supporting, promoting and growing technologically based and innovative business initiatives, in addition to facilitating the transfer of technology developed at the Universitat Jaume I.

Science and research are key in the fight against COVID-19

The Manager of the General UJI Foundation, Juan Antonio Bertolín, who is also the Managing Director of Espaitec, shows his support and encourages collaborating in the Fundraising campaign against COVID-19 which aims to mitigate the effects that the COVID-19 pandemic is having on the university community and society.

Bertolín states that science and research are key in the fight against COVID-19 and finishes the video supporting the campaign by saying «now more than ever, the UJI needs the collaboration of the university community and society as a whole to continue transforming knowledge and talent to improve citizens' quality of life, especially now with COVID-19.

The not-for-profit UJI General Foundation aims to collaborate with the Universitat Jaume I (UJI) in developing and managing those activities that contribute to improving rendering university services. Espaitec, the Science and Technology Park of the UJI, is a unique environment in the province of Castellón that houses, supports, favors and allows innovative technology-based business initiatives to grow, and also facilitates transferring the technology developed at the UJI.
