The workshop was attended by a wide representation of the different organizations linked to the Vice-Rector's Office for Studies, Occupation and Innovation of the Universitat Jaume I. The Increa Chair, the Educational Support Unit and the Office of Professional Insertion and Internships (OIPEP) have were some of the participants, who presented the initiatives carried out by the UJI to identify university talent and promote their entrepreneurial capacity.
Regarding the data provided, it should be noted that in 2013 the entrepreneurial intention among students increased considerably compared to previous years.
The students have been represented by associations such as EADE Consulting Junior Empresa, iWeekendUJI or DevelUp. Équipe VIA-UJI/Solar Decathlon Europe 2014, has participated as an example of collaboration between students and teachers in the execution of a project with international impact. Mercedes Segarra, professor of the subject entrepreneurship, has presented the current state of students regarding entrepreneurial action.
At the provincial level, the workshop has had the participation of agents from the entire province of Castellón such as the Chamber of Commerce through Prop Emprendedores, the Castellón Provincial Council through the CEDES centers, the Onda City Council, ResetWeekend Castellón, the European Center of Innovative Companies (CEEI), the Globalis Foundation of Vila-real, the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Castellón, SECOT Castellón and Acciónate.
