The startup linked to Espaitec opens a branch in Las Naves after being selected in the Col·lab program

The technology-based company Amazing Up, born in the Scientific and Technological Park of the Universitat Jaume I In 2014, it continues with its growth plan for 2020 by opening a headquarters in the Las Naves Innovation Center of Valencia, after being selected within the Col·lab entrepreneurship program organized with the city council of the capital of Turia.

With this new opening, the Castellón technology company expands its service capacity and proximity to Valencian tourist companies and municipalities, many of which are already part of its client portfolio, and takes an important step in its objective of positioning itself as the reference in tourism innovation in the Valencian Community. Its strategic plan for the 2020-22 three-year period plans to triple its current turnover and double the rate of qualified employment, formed mainly by computer scientists, engineers, designers, graduates in Journalism, Audiovisual Communication and Tourism, with an interdisciplinary vocation as required by the best creative industries. and content.

Until now, the startup's main area of ​​action has been the Valencian territory, but as a result of its constant growth and the success of its channel “Amazing Spain 360” On the YouTube video platform, the opening of new offices in Valencia is the step it needed to expand its operations nationwide.

A startup specialized in technologies applied to tourism innovation

Amazing Up started its business project six years ago with the help of Valencian engineer Juan José Ortiz, with the development of the first tourist gamification mobile application for smartphones, “Amazing City Castellón”, which allows you to approach the most emblematic tourist spots in the province as if it were a guided adventure and which incorporates virtual reality and augmented reality technology to make access to local history and culture more attractive. Since this tourist milestone, the Castellón technology company has not stopped growing and specializing in the development of innovative products for tourism, with the creation of its own solutions in the field of what is known as extended reality.

Throughout its history, Amazing Up has worked for large Valencian companies and public administrations, such as l'Oceanogràfic, the Magic Museum by Yunke, the Silk Museum of Valencia, the Peñíscola Castle, or Turisme Comunitat Valenciana, among many others. Its customized developments are based on the integration of the latest audiovisual and mobile technologies with content fully adapted to the characteristics of each client.
