Students between 15 and 18 years old linked to educational centers of various profiles, both rural and urban centers, as well as Secondary Education and Training Cycles centers, participate in the program. Its final objective is to increase the employment possibilities of European youth, motivating the fight against youth unemployment by making known different alternatives. Through this project we aim to prove that education is an opportunity to take advantage of, a space to prepare young people for the world of work and learn about real experiences that bring the academic world closer to the world of work.
Along these lines, the visit to espaitec had the objective of making university education known from another point of view, the campus as a space of opportunities and talent in which all types of projects promoted by students, both business and research, are generated. During the visit to the facilities, the European students learned about initiatives such as Hackerspace Castellón, UJI Motorsport, UJI Electric Racing Team y UJI Decathletes, all projects promoted by students from the Universitat Jaume I of various degrees and academic profiles working on 3D printers, electric motorcycles, Formula I vehicles and sustainable architecture.
