The technology-based companies AirBiometrics, Neven and Arkadia Space connect to Espaitec at the beginning of 2024 to be part of the innovative and technological ecosystem of the Universitat Jaume I
AirBiometrics, Calendula y Arkadia Space are linked to Espaitec, fstrengthening the innovative and technological ecosystem of the Universitat Jaume I. The joining of these new firms reinforces Espaitec as a unique space for business growth and acceleration in the province of Castellón.
AirBiometrics is a technology company in the health sector, specialized in biomedicine, that offers affordable solutions that facilitate the diagnosis and monitoring of chronic diseases associated with inflammatory processes, with the focus on the Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD) during the first stage, improving the quality of life of patients. The Castellón technology company was founded by the partners Enrique Vicedo, Sweet Macias, Daniel Sardina, Francisco Alegre y Fernando Dolz 2020 the year.
Calendula is a company specialized in cutting-edge technological products with a strong innovative character. Offered through a marketplace personalized, a selection of products tech that stand out for their innovation, performance and design. The startup was founded by Guillem Garcia in 2023.
Arkadia Space is a Castellón company specialized in development and commercialization of green engines and propulsion systems to provide mobility in space to space platforms and vehicles. The technology firm was founded by engineers Francho Garcia, Ismael Gutierrez, Francisco Espinosa, and Sergio Soler in 2020; and the company has an orbital engine test center in the Castellón airport. It should be noted that among its investment partners are relevant figures from the space sector such as Pedro Duque, astronaut and former Minister of Science and Innovation, and Antoine de Chassy, founder of the successful space company Orbital Loft.
Espaitec, managed by the General Foundation of the UJI, increases the number of companies linked to the park, and continues to advance in the same direction that ended in 2023, with seven companies incorporated into the innovative and technological ecosystem of the UJI. All of them can rely on various value-added services such as specialized training, active technological-financial surveillance and new business opportunities with the support of the UJI R&D groups and local companies.
