For the award of the prize, of a financial award of 15.000 euros, the jury took into consideration the company's commitment to the design, development and production of new products and/or innovative manufacturing processes, through the systematic application of knowledge technicians and scientists.
The company is developing a digital medical image management platform through the Internet, a fact that will allow considerable economic savings in the expensive digital medical image infrastructure that is currently used in hospitals and radiological centers.

Actualtec Innovación Tecnológica SL is a grow-up company located in espaitec since the end of 2008 that has two differentiated business lines:
– Actualmed, provides optimal solutions in radiology and teleradiology. In this area it offers installation, maintenance and training services for teleradiology systems, digital medical image archiving (PACS) and workstations for radiologist doctors.
