Today the two entrepreneurial projects developed during Akademia You Project UJI are presented at Espaitec.
Akademia You Project of the Bankinter Innovation Foundation is consolidated for another year as a reference initiative in the field of education of Spanish university students in innovation and entrepreneurship. During this 2016-17 academic year, the Universitat Jaume I has been one of the 10 Spanish universities that has participated in this initiative where selected students discover the tools that offer them innovation and entrepreneurship for their future. The program, through which more than 1000 university students from a wide variety of degrees have passed, offers students the opportunity to experience innovation in a different way. 94% of students who have already taken Akademia You Project recommend it, highlighting the multidisciplinary and innovative nature of the tools, concepts and techniques learned.
With the support of the Vice-Rectorate of Students, Occupation and Educational Innovation and the financing of the Department of Education, Research, Culture and Sports of the Generalitat Valenciana, 23 UJI students have been able to enjoy a program characterized by offering an agile and innovative methodology where students describe the main innovation trends and opportunities. For this, Akademia You Project at the Jaume I University has had an excellent faculty where we can highlight the participation of Alicia Martínez, Curro Maturana, Jorge Ordovás or Rogelio Mainar.
Throughout the course, students have worked on implementing an idea following a guided innovation methodology. The winning project will represent the university at the Akademia Expoday at the national level. After six months of intense work, today the program comes to an end and we will be able to learn about the two innovative projects developed by UJI students, one aimed at maintaining small businesses and a social virtual currency project. The closing ceremony is open to the entire university community and will take place this afternoon at 15.00:2 p.m. in the multipurpose room of the Espaitec XNUMX building.
