Espaitec and Diputación de Castellón They consolidate the Castellón Global Program (CSGP) business growth program, which in 2019 celebrates its seventh edition. A program that 59 companies in the province belonging to 25 municipalities and 15 different sectors of activity have already gone through.

In the coming weeks, the program will select nine companies based in the province of Castellón, eager to innovate and grow, that is, willing to take their project to the next level through innovation and strategic planning. The program is aimed at companies in any sector of activity that have a minimum turnover of €25.000 and are based in the province of Castellón, specifically it seeks to accelerate three types of companies: recently created companies that need support in the preparation of the growth; consolidated companies in search of innovation and acceleration; and family businesses interested in carrying out a strategic reflection on their generational change.

The main novelties of the seventh edition focus on a new training program, new teachers and the launch of the figure of the mentor friend. In the training part, all training modules have been reviewed to bring all areas of the company closer to growth and innovation, incorporating a specific innovation generation module with design thinking methodologies. Regarding the figure of the mentor-friend, the team of mentors will be reinforced with the voluntary participation of former students of the program, businessmen who will be able to contribute knowledge and experience during their time in previous editions.

Juan Antonio Bertolín, Director of Espaitec and Manager of the General Foundation of the Universitat Jaume I, highlights the capacity of the program for companies to make a radical change in their business strategy, “after six editions held, the program has consolidated among the provincial business fabric as an ideal tool to carry out a strategic reflection on the state of the companies, offering support from day one to carry out a personalized growth plan through training and mentoring with prominent businessmen of local and national scope,” he concludes.
