UJI Empren OnSocial, the program to promote social, environmental and technological entrepreneurship of the Universitat Jaume I opens your registration period October 5th to 20th, both inclusive.
The program, which to date has already created 6 companies in its previous editions, It is aimed at the entire university community especially to undergraduate, master's or doctoral students who are studying at the UJI, as well as students who have completed their studies in the last 5 years and also to the PAS and PDI of the UJI.
The requirement to participate will be to have a business project of a social or technological nature that is not constituted as a company at the time of registration. Registration must be done on the website http://ujiempren-onsocial.uji.es/ through the form enabled for this purpose.
Of all the registrations, The admission commission will evaluate the 25 best projects, taking into account criteria of innovation, socio-economic impact, potential work commitment on the part of the person or promoting team, feasibility and scalability of the project, as well as gender parity in the promoting team.
4TH EDITION OF THE UJI ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAM
As a novelty, it should be noted that this edition of the program will be carried out online. In the first phase, led by INCREA Càtedra d'Innovació, Creativitat i Aprenentatge, an experiential learning cycle will be launched that will emphasize the perception of future entrepreneurs about the competitive foundations of their initiatives. In the second phase, led by Espaitec Scientific and Technological Park of the UJI, the necessary mechanisms for going to market will be facilitated, helping to create a sustainable company taking into consideration the social impact it generates.
Throughout the entire process, participating projects will be accompanied by a specialized mentor from the team SECOT Castellón, who will help and guide you in the advancement of your project.
All those projects that successfully complete the program will obtain a certificate in entrepreneurial skills, as well as be able to attend the call for applications. two grants of €10.000 each for the best initiative at the end of 2021 organized by the UJI and Banco Santander.
