The social entrepreneurship program is aimed at the university community of the Universitat Jaume I and the registration period is open until October 18
podcast along with theINCREA Chair of Innovation, Creativity and Learning, launches the sixth edition of UJI Empren OnSocial, the UJI entrepreneurship program for promote the development of sustainable projects and business creation among the university community. During the first four editions the initiative has helped consolidate eight startups and the winning projects in the fifth edition will soon be launched.
UJI Emprèn OnSocial offers Free training given by highly relevant professionals, who help students work on their business idea and learn what skills an entrepreneur must have to create startups.
The requirements to participate in this edition of the program are have a business project that is not established as a company at the time of registration (unless it is a spin-off of the UJI) and be a member of the university community (Alumni, students, teaching staff and administration and services staff)
From the beginning of the program, all participating projects will be assigned a specialized mentor from the team DRY (Spanish Seniors for Technical Cooperation), a non-profit association formed by executives who, voluntarily and altruistically, offer their experience and knowledge in business management and who will help and guide them in the advancement of their project. Furthermore, as a novelty, in this edition the program will be divided into six practical modules.
All those projects that complete the UJI Emprèn OnSocial program will obtain a diploma that will help them obtain the official certificate in entrepreneurial skills and will have the possibility of attending the call for aid UJI Emprèn OnSocial for the creation of new startups, organized by the UJI y Banco Santander.
To be able to participate in this edition, the registration should be done Until 18 October on the program website, through the form enabled to this end. Of all the registrations, the admission committee will evaluate the projects, selecting 25 according to the criteria established in the bases.
This initiative of the Universitat Jaume I is promoted by Vice-rectorate for Innovation, Transfer and Scientific Dissemination, and led by podcast and INCREA Chair. Furthermore, it has the support of the Ministry of Innovation, Universities, Science and Digital Society of the Generalitat Valenciana.
