What is an IHL?
A Digital Innovation Hub is an entity, without a profit motive, that facilitates access to aid from the European Commission for companies, especially PIMES, for the latest digital transformation. In Europe there are 287 of which Spain has 47 fully operational and in the Valencian Community 5, of which Espaitec is the only IHL in the province of Castelló.
The DIH will play an important role in the European Digital Program (DEP) to stimulate the use of Supercomputing, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity and Advanced Digital Knowledge by all public and industrial sector organizations in Europe.
What did it mean for Espaitec to be part of the Digital Innovation HUB (DIH) in the Intel·ligent Specialization Platform of the European Commission?
Provide companies linked to the park (the IHL) with access to European aid for the digitalization of their processes, the launch of experimental innovation projects under the new Horizon Europe framework (new vision of the European Commission from H2020 to 2021-2027) and the European strategy for the digitalization of the European industry.
The European Commission will invest 100 million euros over 5 years to potential collaboration between the different European IHLs to help PIMES and mitjan companies to digitalise.
Who will benefit Espaitec companies from this?
Preferential access to information on calls to develop various technological projects in the area of digitalization of the new value chain. In addition to presenting a technological infrastructure for evaluation, testing and validation, scaling of industrial projects, training and acceleration of new companies.

The EU's commitment to IHL seems clear, but what types of actions and concrete plans does the EU have for IHL?
In addition, enhance connectivity between all European IHLs through aid packages (100 million annually for 5 years).
