Espaitec launches the 2nd edition of the FOCUS report, which analyses AI applied to the water sector in depth. The FOCUS report is therefore a tool that delves into a technological trend and performs a market analysis in relation to trends, patents, leading countries, reference centres, markets, etc.
The FOCUS report is a tool of the Espaitec Technological Observatory, a technological, competitive and market surveillance service aimed at companies and research groups, especially those within the influence of the Universitat Jaume I. In addition, we also have the PRISMA tool, a technological trends bulletin.
This initiative has the collaboration of the Valencian Innovation Agency.

This edition of the FOCUS report is about the Application of artificial intelligence (AI) in water management, exploring Technological advances, trends and recent developmentsIncluding Digital twins, flood prediction and water quality monitoring. Key players, such as Chinese companies and institutions, are identified as leading patents in this field. In addition, international collaborations and relevant projects in Europe and Spain are highlighted. Finally, it analyses market opportunities, such as the optimisation of processes and reduction of operating costs in water infrastructures through AI.
