Lego Serious Play arrives in Spain to teach new time management techniques

Apr 09, 2018 Espaitec

The objective of the “Time monitor with Lego Serious Play” workshop is to teach new techniques to better manage time and to have more time available and quality of life.

Managing time in work teams is crucial to improve companies’ productivity and workers’ happiness. In a labour model where working hours increase and productivity decreases, there is general awareness of the need to deal with these problems by training businesspeople and entrepreneurs in techniques and methodologies with which to learn new ways to manage time personally and professionally.

To deal with this matter, espaitec is organising for the afternoon of Thursday 19 April the “The Time Monitor with Lego Serious Play” workshop. This is training action for businesspeople and entrepreneurs from Castellón interested in increasing their productivity by up to 30%. This workshop allows them to take the necessary steps to have more time available and better quality personal life, while living with less stress and making progress to fulfil set objectives.

Registering for this workshop is free for the companies physically located in and virtually linked to the espaitec Science Park, and also for former Castellón Global Program Companies Club students. The price of this workshop is €20 for anyone not linked to espaitec. Seating is limited, so it is necessary to register before Wednesday 18 April on this registration form.

The techniques employed in LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® workshops are based on profoundly experimental training processes and strategic transformation. Techniques are used to facilitate reflection, communication and problem solving, while playing constructively, educationally, creatively and with imagination. This methodology has been developed, documented and tested, and is also highly flexible and adaptable. It is used by leading companies like Google, NASA, Coca-cola; Microsoft or Orange. The session will be held by Laura Fidalgo, founder partner of Concierta, a company specialised in transforming companies, teams and people through innovation.

With such training action, the espaitec Science Park of Castellón continues a series of monthly talks, workshops and seminars that it organises to improve business skills and to encourage networking. These sessions are open to the whole Castellón society and business fabric in the province, and are financed by the Regional Ministry of Education, Research, Culture and Sport of the Generalitat Valenciana.
