This morning the press room in the Rectorate Building of the Universitat Jaume I was where the growth plans of the 14 companies selected for the fifth edition of the Castellón Global Program were presented, an initiative promoted by the Diputación de Castellón in collaboration with Espaitec and CEEI Castellón, whose purpose is to facilitate the growth and innovation of companies in the province of Castellón. This is a well-established programme in which 50 companies from the whole province have participated and the announcement of the 2018 edition is being defined.
During the event, the companies had 5 minutes to present their growth plan on which they had worked in the last 3 months with the help of mentors from the programme and trainers from the EDEM Businesspeople’s School. This business growth plan will be the roadmap for forthcoming years, a document that reflects their detailed short-, mid- and long-term outreach with, among other types, the following information: an analysis of the company’s environment by identifying and prioritising requirements; planning financial requirements; human resources; marketing actions, sales and communication; defining collaboration strategies, defining operational processes and improving companies’ digitalisation.
In this event David Cabedo, espaitec’s Academic director, and Salvador Aguilella, the representative of Economic Promotion, Revenue and the Treasury of the Castellón Council Offices, both participated. They recognised the effort made by the selected companies in the last few months and the impact that this programme is having on the economic business fabric.
This event, to which some programme trainers and mentors attended, ended the actions to be taken in Castellón during the fifth edition. The only pending event is the formative itinerary about the EU which will take place in Brussels at the beginning of 2018.
