Espaitec encourages innovative entrepreneurship in the university community

This training action intends to help entrepreneurial ideas to mature to jointly reflect on their outlook to the market.

Espaitec collaborates with the  Cooperation Office for Technological Research and Development (OCIT) and Alumni SAUJI to launch a new edition of Bootcamp Launchpad Start UJI. This involves three free intense and practical training sessions for anyone in the university community interested in entrepreneurship or validating a business idea. Given by Paco Negre, this is the first bootcamp this year to be held on 10, 11 and 12 July in the Espaitec 1 building.

During the two work sessions on 10 and 11 July from 09:00-14:00 h, attendees will work on concepts like customer segmentation, market size, value proposals, competitive advantage, and some key concepts about finances, as well as leadership and team management, to help transform their ideas into innovative business projects or to, at least, reflect on an initial concept to adapt it to market requirements. Sessions include looking closely at new methodologies to set up innovative companies practically and interactively to encourage exchanging experiences among professionals from various knowledge areas. After some training modules, the Thursday session on 12 July will focus on learning to publicly present a business project or idea by working with communication-related competences.

Participation is free, but it is necessary to register beforehand using the online form where anyone interested must briefly explain their project. The last date to register is Friday 6 July. With one or two participants per project or idea, a maximum of nine ideas will be selected.

This entrepreneurship dissemination action is supported by the Regional Ministry of Education, Research, Culture and Sport of the Generalitat Valenciana to encourage creating innovative companies from the university community. This action forms part of the university’s third mission: knowledge transfer.
